Electrical Engineering in Meridian, MS

Meridian hosts Naval Air Station Meridian and serves as east Mississippi's regional healthcare and commercial hub, with military facility, medical center, and commercial engineering as primary project types.

What we design

Power, lighting, and life-safety systems for Meridian healthcare & medical facilities — engineered together, not bolted on. Torch's electrical team designs distribution around Meridian's hot-humid summers realities and the Meridian building department review habits, delivering PE-stamped drawings backed by Apex Grid Engineering at a price that wins bids.

• When Meridian institutional & civic outgrow their existing service, we engineer the upgrade: service-entrance sizing, available fault current at each panel, and selective coordination, all documented for the Meridian building department plan review.
• For Meridian institutional & civic, distribution design covers switchgear lineups, feeder routing, and transformer placement — coordinated with the architectural layout so electrical rooms land where they are actually buildable.
• Meridian institutional & civic with critical operations get properly separated life-safety, legally-required, and optional standby systems — generator, ATS, and fuel sized for the real load, not a guess.
• Utility coordination with Entergy Mississippi or Mississippi Power handled up front — service applications, metering requirements, and available-fault-current letters — so the Meridian electrical permit never stalls waiting on the utility.
• Torch quotes electrical engineering fast and prices it sharp — PE-stamped drawings backed by Apex Grid Engineering's licensed PEs, without the big-firm markup Meridian owners expect.
