Fire Alarm Engineering in Parkersburg, WV

Parkersburg's economy centers on chemical and plastics manufacturing — including the Washington Works complex across the river — at the Ohio and Little Kanawha confluence.

What we engineer

Complete fire alarm system design per NFPA 72 — addressable analog detection, conventional systems, notification appliance layout per NFPA 72 Chapter 18 (audible 18.5, visible 18.4), voice evacuation and emergency communications systems per Chapter 24, and mass notification systems per UFC 4-021-01 for DoD and federal facilities. Initiating-device spacing per 17.7, elevator recall, HVAC shutdown, door-holder release, and smoke control interfaces coordinated across disciplines.

Permits that actually pass

AHJs want device layout drawings with NFPA 72 spacing justification, riser diagrams, battery calculations (24-hour standby plus alarm time), NAC voltage-drop calculations, intelligibility design for voice systems, and supervising-station communication details per Chapter 26 — we deliver the full submittal package with PE-stamped calculations so your fire alarm permit clears plan review and acceptance testing.
